Top Ten Top Lane Champions (Patch 4.0)

NOTE: There are in no particular order.

1. Dr.Mundo, the Madman of Zaun.
Dr.Mundo is currently and extremely tanky champion, with his sadism and adrenaline, add Spirit Visage to the combo and you have an extremely powerful tank, there is a good reason why he is either a ban or a pick at the pro levels!

2. Nasus, the Curator of the Sands.
Though not nearly as tanky and Mundo, Nasus is one of the few champions in the League that scale harder than Mundo, currently, his ultimate makes for a terrifying power, some even consider him overpowered.

3. Riven, the Exile
Though Riven will be nerfed next patch, she is still, until that time, the undisputed queen/goddess of OP. (overpowered)

4.  Darius, the Hand of Noxus
Darius has once again been made viable due to increasing his re-use time on Noxian Guillotine to 20 seconds, he is always a great top laner.

5. Rengar, the Pridestalker
Though now a shadow of his former self, Rengar is still a force to be reckoned with in top lane.

6. Jax, Grandmaster at Arms
Jax is always a great top laner, due to his incredible sustain and his huge range of counters to popular champions.

7. Renekton, the Buchter of the Sands.
Renekton is an extremely strong laner, having huge damage output and sustain with his ultimate, Dominus.
Like Nasus, Renekton is an extremely hard scaler, though not considered OP by most.

8. Yasuo, the Unforgiven
A melee glass cannon of a sort, Yasuo relies on huge damage output rather than tankiness, with the lowering of skill level on Yasuo, Yasuo is once again recommended.

9. Shyvana, the Half-Dragon
Shyvana is a very strong champion who works as both a damage dealer and a tank, her ultimate allows her to temporarily become a super-tank.

10.
Maphite is a strong top laner due to his tanky characteristics as well as teamfight-ready ultimate.
